Executive Board Meeting Minutes

Call to Order: 6:03PM

Secretary’s Report: Stephanie Bollinger

Minutes from October 2024 meeting sent out last week, 11.5.24
- majority approval

Treasurer’s Report: Sarah Lynch

Principal’s Report: Lorinda Krey & Katie Johnson

School-Wide Bubble Dance Party—Monday November 25th
- as grade level during specials—Jason and Brandi DJ-ing
- bubble bus for 30min then into gym for slideshow of photos/video
- need extra hands for popcorn and cotton candy
Capital Outlay—Prop 3 Updates
- Summer 2025: Keyless number pads for access to building (main, 2 on ends, one in back, another)
- 2027: HVAC
- 2028: Ceiling and roof
- 2026: Concrete resurfacing
Sport Court: will work with us
- teachers feel like we already have a large, nice playground—need a new laminator, etc.
- students who will be gone before sport court is done...
How to have equity between grade levels and their spending requests
percentage of students in each grade level to be considered as well?
Show staff what the spending/budget is currently...perhaps they would have suggestions for how to adjust the budget or change spending

We need a treasurer!
- Erin Riesmeyer’s job doesn’t allow her the time to be here
- Someone to start shadowing 2nd semester
ParentSquare training (Anna and Hanna)
- Newsletters, etc
  - Submit things for newsletter by Friday before
If your event needs a flyer, come up and copy it yourself. Don’t leave to those making copies for teachers.
- How do we find more people/ways to get help?
Bounce houses no longer needed for 5th grade celebration; still needed for field day? also affects family fun night
- other ideas for field day...stations? need enough volunteers
- check into pricing for one day; does what time it gets dropped off have impact?
All-School Field Trip
- Humane Society not an option for that number of people; do some other activities with them instead
- Split K-2 and 3-5? Different days to the same place, or two different places?
